#TEAMCODE Meet Sam
It's super important to us to have a genuine relationship with our #CODERS, and part of that is introducing you to the team. We decided to start a feature, where members of team code would answer a few questions, so you can get to know us a little better!
Next up.... it's Sam x
Whats your typical day working on CODE...?
A typical day at CODE HQ for me is totally numbers orientated. I work alongside Emma P and basically do as she asks :-) Paperwork and numbers is my thing and I really enjoy what I do. We like to make sure we are always up to date with the figures side of things as it can have a huge impact on future decisions and as the future is our oyster here at CODE HQ this is really important!! I also spend half my day working out which Emma we need…. ;)
What is your must have beauty product...?
CODE VLM… If somebody told me I was moving to the dessert and could only take 3 items with me, it would be the first thing I would pack!! I am lucky to have quite long lashes but CODE VLM separates them perfectly and really makes them stand out.
Tell us something most people don't know about you…?
I am blessed to have a beautiful niece and nephew, Eva and Rueben. I have always wanted a tattoo to represent my niece and nephew but have struggled to decide what to have. My niece recently learnt to write her name for the first time so to mark this milestone in her beautiful little life I decided to have it tattooed on me. It makes me smile every time I look at it to know that I am lucky enough to share these milestones with Eva and Rueben and once Rueben reaches the age of being able to write his own name I will have the same for him too :-)
There is a plus size beauty blogger named Callie Thorpe who I follow. I love what she stands for and how positive she is. I remember her once saying she doesn’t think we should look at the size on the label when buying clothes, if it fits and looks good, does the number on the label really matter? Being plus size myself I think it’s really important to wear what suits your figure and to dress for your shape. And just remember ladies and gents, confidence is always the finishing touch to any outfit
Where's your fave place to go for food...?
My favourite place to go for food currently is Nando’s (predictable and chainy I know but who doesn’t love a cheeky Nando’s) I am currently following the slimming world plan so at Nando’s I can have a tasty meal of butterfly chicken (Lemon and herb or Mango and lime – I am a wuss when it comes to spice), rice and corn on the cob. I will really enjoy it, feel full and satisfied and still be 100% on plan!!
