Celeb make-up artist Alex Jones shares her festival make-up tips...

The very lovely celebrity make-up artist, Alex Jones, was very kind to share her festival make-up tips with us for all you lovely people... over to you Alex...:

When it comes to festival makeup, I think it's important to keep it simple. Not only do you want your makeup to stay fresh for as long as possible, you also want to travel light.

These are my suggestions to achieve the perfect festival look - As a base, instead of foundation, I would recommend using Resultime's CC cream. It leaves you with a perfect complexion and has an SPF30 so your skin is protected while you party in the sunshine!

Next I'd use a cream blush on the cheeks, not only will it last longer than a powder alternative but it will leave your cheeks with a natural, dewy glow. I use Bobbi Brown's Pot Rouge which doubles up as a gorgeous lip tint too.

When it comes to eyes, a good old fashioned flick never fails to transform your look in seconds without the need of eyeshadow. I recently discovered Eyeko's skinny liner which is so easy to apply and really does last amazingly! If eyeliner is not your thing, they also do a very impressive eyeshadow stick which lasts just as long.

If you like to fill in your brows, Blink's eyebrow pencils are great, with a range of natural colours. If you just want to keep your brows in place all day then try their brow gel.

Finally, I'd apply one coat of Code VLM (adding another later in the evening for a more dramatic look!) Alex xx
