Can we talk about the menopause

Let's talk about menopause and how it can affect our makeup routine (amongst the many other things!). As we go through this natural phase of life, our bodies undergo significant hormonal changes that can impact our skin, hair, and overall appearance. From dryness and thinning of the skin to changes in oil production and the appearance of wrinkles, menopause can throw a curveball into our makeup game (I have first-hand experience of this).
 
But fear not! There are plenty of tips and tricks to help navigate the changes and feel fabulous during this stage of life. From adding extra moisture to your skincare routine to using specific makeup products designed for mature skin, there are ways to adapt and still look and feel your best.  
 
Here are the top 4 things that’s helped me:-  
  1. Up the anti on hydration and moisturising skincare. I personally love Oskia, some of Beauty pies' Hyaluronic products and I've shifted to cream cleansers. I avoid fragrance not only does it irritate but it dries my skin further. 
  2. Loose foundation, if you are pale like me then tanning drops in your moisturiser really help with some colour and CODE LLE will be the best replacement; it will conceal, lift, brighten, and smooth without sitting in lines.
